Am în lucru un site care necesită un widget meteo. Pentru că în general nu prea lucrez astfel de siteuri (cu curs valutar și widget meteo), a fost nevoie să caut să văd ce mai este “de luat și de pus la tine pe site”. Am avut o surpriză foarte plăcuta de la Administrația Națională de Meteorologie.

Windows is constantly telling you when things succeed — like it wants to be congratulated on doing what it’s supposed to do. “New hardware detected! You’ve attached a camera! I found a driver! Do you want me to open the pictures or copy them or sing a song? The camera is now connected and working!” There are balloon tips popping up in the taskbar and notification area periodically, letting you know that whatever you’re doing is not important, because Windows just found a new wireless network! Olimpiada nationala de chimie 2009 se tine la noi in Arad anul acesta si am acceptat sa fac site-ul acestui concurs. Oficial momentan este doar un splash page disponibil la http://www.onch2009arad.eu

Am aproape terminat siteul pentru școala de șoferi la care învăț și eu, și anume Rodvas. Poți intra pe http://www.rodvas.ro pentru a-l vedea. Mai am de piscălit și de trecut niște informații, dar pretty much this is it. Am încercat ceva diferit cu siteul ăsta, și anume de a-l face single page, cu ancore în pagină. Să vedem care este reacția.

What i don’t really like about microsoft is that for every existing technology that exists out there, they have to be cocky and release their own version of it. So is Silverlight, a response to Flash and AIR (two very popular technologies). While I agree that concurence is a must on every market, I feel that they somehow have some kind of “our shit is better” phrase on their mouths.

I tend to develop shortcuts and not wait for the OS to finish every task I am requiring it to run. So, provided the fact that I know what button or key I have to push next, provided that I know my folder structure very well, I want to reach certain places fast so I could focus on the more time-consuming of matters. But what happens if I launch a program and then go somewhere else to do something without waiting for that particular program to have launched???! Nothing, that program steals my “focus” (focus means the active window or box where I’m doing stuff),  then requiring me to take another action just to go back to where I was working. This is very very annoying!
