I love coffee, makes my day. There are several people who tell me about the bad things that come with coffee everytime I mention it, but I do not care. What I know is that I love the taste and I know it comes with good things for my health too. Disregarding these, while trying to learn a new piece of software, and I’m talking about Adobe Illustrator CS3, I have come up with this, this morning:

While I feel that on the web programming field I have quite some knowledge I can make use of, and by that I mean I can code a website from scratch without any hassle, designing has always been harder for me. It isn’t at all that natural, and I’m often wondering whether I’m more of an artistic or a realistic person (as in Math et co oriented)… I have a life in front of me to find out . Having said this, I want to really improve my skills in designing web sites/interfaces and also posters and u-name-it, thinking that the principles stay the same, only the media is different. And having been involved in web design, I know its limits and quirks, so paper design should be easier, mainly because of the fixed-size-thingy. Here’s my latest 4 books ordered from Amazon, which I am still waiting for right now, very eager and stoic:

• Design Elements: A Graphic Style Manual
• Layout Workbook: A Real-World Guide to Building Pages in Graphic Design

Even though the final amount looked uneasy to me, 100$ is too much for me to afford in a time where I want to save all my money, even the mere cent to buy my dreamed
